About this event

Join fellow educators from across the Washington, DC region, representing all grade levels and all types of schools — independent, public and public charter — for an enriching day exploring how culturally responsive teaching and communication impacts student outcomes.  

The NPS Equity Institute is designed to engage, challenge and educate participants while offering resources and action steps. Participants will explore culturally responsive teaching and communication on a macro and micro level through guided workshops.  The hands-on component of each session will enable educators to examine current teaching and communication practices through a culturally responsive lens.
